New Travel Magazine
We at Educators Overseas are pleased to bring our overseas educators
and all overseas travelers a travel magazine of a different breed.
Why a new magazine? We weren't set on coming up with a new magazine
until we realized that none of the ones on the market offered what we
wanted as avid travel lovers. Travel magazines out there sound like
small pieces of tourist guides: general, overarching, unfocussed. We
wanted more (or rather less): we wanted applied, concrete, diverse,
interesting and, above all, less of the kind of information you find in
other travel magazines and in all of the travel guides, and more of what you find most interesting and helpful, yet didn't even know to ask.
We decided to write this magazine so we could share with you really
interesting travel information and fascinating facts from around the
world. We will tell you about unknown churches with spectacular mosaics
and let you in on some very useful travelling tips. We will teach you
when to splurge and when to save and how to take care of your travel
budget best, so as to get the most of it. Expect a lot of facts, such
as when this expensive museum is open for free and when is it best to
take this river cruise.
We will always appreciate a good, honest feedback, so let us know, at
the end of your reading what our magazine has and what it lacks, what
we should change and what we should keep. We believe this is another
thing that will differentiate us from our competition: this is a
project in the making and we welcome all contributions into shaping it
to perfection.
Our first issue, about Love and travel, will launch on February 14 on
Zinio and on Kindle. Individual issues will be $.99 and subscriptions
will be $10/year, which includes access to all past issues.
To receive our inaugural issue for free, just email us at
info@educatorsoverseas.com with "Travel Magazine" in the subject line.
