International Administrators

Educators Overseas recruits and places highly qualified teachers and school administrators from America, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and the UK in jobs in international schools and ESL schools abroad. We sometimes have international school or language school administrator jobs within the U.S. as well.

When we have jobs for school administrators they are highly competitive. In addition to all required teacher qualifications, applicants for school administrator positions abroad should also have the following qualifications:

  • Experience – To be considered for a job as a school administrator in an international school you must have at least two years experience in an educational leadership capacity. ESL school administrator jobs require experience as a head ESL teacher (overseeing other ESL teachers) for at least 2-3 years.
  • Advanced degree – A Master’s level degree is the minimum degree requirement for school administrators; additional advanced degrees are desirable.

In addition, most schools require experience in an international school abroad, or at least experience living overseas and working in a leadership capacity. Qualifications that would make a candidate more attractive would also include any recent graduate or post graduate work with ESL students as well as work in school curriculum development.
